from the 7th Global Conference
on Environmental Education and Sustainable Development held at Agra during September
19 – 23, 2005, was to organize
a “National Annual Conference
on Environmental Education” to
bring enlightened minds under single roof and help them provide
a communicable platform to share their views, ideas, and
knowledge. Along with various environmental issues, the agenda
for UN Decade for Education for Sustainable Development (2005
- 2014) will be discussed during the Conference. The Conference
(NACEE) will also identify the role and responsibility of
the civil society as well as their level of participation
during the UN Decade for Education and Sustainable Development.
