Dear Sir/ Madam/ Students,

The Indian Environmental Society (IES) which is one of the active voluntary organization working on environment and sustainable development issues since 1972 is planning to organize a Youth Forum on “Earth Science Research”. These days, the earth has been facing several problems. There are lots of reasons for the degradation of the earth. Thus, each fragment of the earth need to be studied to know the problems, reasons for its occurrence, impact due to the problem, way for solving the problem etc. The main aim for organizing this forum is to aware, sensitize, motivate the youth particularly students group to engage them in research activities to know about the various components of the earth.

The forum will be organized at Indian National Science Academy (INSA), Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, New Delhi – 110002 during April 23-24, 2010.  On behalf of the Society, I have pleasure in inviting you to participate in this forum. We are sure your participation will help in making the programme successful and also support for achieving the goal and objectives of this forum.
